You'll enjoy it so much, you'll come back for more...

'A real home from home' - Shona Cartney, Aberdeen

The Courtyard is great self-catering accommodation in the heart of Stirling The location is great, the facilities are great and the hosts are great! We have celebrated the New Year at The Courtyard for the last 2 years and have already booked our third in 2010. A real home from home, The Courtyard is well equipped with all the essentials for everyday living and Kirsteen is more than obliging should you need anything else. I would definitely recommend The Courtyard to all.

'Spotlessly clean, modern, light and airy' - Tracey & Sean Bruce, Devon

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten day stay at The Courtyard in April 2009, so much so that we are returning again in July 2010 and this time bringing the grandparents! We found the accommodation to be all that was stated on the website. It was spotlessly clean, modern, light and airy. Our daughters were delighted with the bedrooms, the large sofa and the courtyard to play in.

Kirsteen and Robbie were conscientious hosts ensuring we had everything we needed and recommending some wonderful places to visit which meant our first visit to Scotland was a memorable one. Stirling centre was a very short walk away where we enjoyed our evening meals, shopping and, of course, visiting the Castle.

'Excellent accommodation as a base to explore parts of Scotland' - Joe Burlison, Chester-le-Street, County Durham

The Courtyard was booked for a family weekend in May 2009 (5 adults and a youngster 2 years of age), a varied age group (2 - 86), and we found it to be exactly what we wanted in self-catering accommodation in the heart of Stirling. The location and the property were perfect for us all. It is very handy for walking into town for shopping/eating out/carry outs and road and rail links.

The Courtyard lived up to all its promises and our expectations - modern, very clean and spacious and the bedrooms were lovely. The garden is also very spacious, walled and offers a large degree of privacy, plenty of things for our young grandson...Kirsteen also provided plenty toys for inside, extremely welcome!

I would recommend this property for families with young children - we enjoyed it so much that we have booked to go back for a full week this year (May 2010) and will use it as a centre from which to explore Stirling and further afield, as it is very close to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Callander.

'A beautiful apartment...would love to come again' - Joan Kavanagh, Leeds

The Courtyard is a beautiful apartment that is well maintained and very clean. There were 6 of us staying and there was plenty of room My son is a wheelchair user and the fact that the apartment is all on one level was perefect for us. Kirsteen was a perfect host, ready with help and advice when needed.

The location was perfect too, with lots for families to do in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed the Glasgow Science Centre, the Glasgow School of Art and the Falkirk Wheel.

I would love to come again and I highly recommend The Courtyard

'A nice haven at the end of a busy day of sightseeing' - Mark Clancy, Vancouver

We just returned from a month in Europe staying in a variety of properties in Scotland, Norway and France. What we loved about The Courtyard was that it was just "as promised" and Kirsteen made our stay so pleasant. We were travelling with extended family, including my in-laws and sister-in-law, so there were varying needs that were not easy to meet. The Courtyard worked perfectly for all of us - modern, clean and a nice haven at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Stirling is a great location for touring Scotland so many things can be seen within an easy car/train ride.

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending The Courtyard to others.

'Lives up to its promises' - Patricia Chalmers, Aberdeen

We booked the Courtyard for a family weekend (grandparents, son, wife and 2 granddaughters 4 and 2 yrs, daughter, husband and grandson, 6yrs.) .... a very varied age group, but the location and property was perfect for us all. The Courtyard certainly lived up to all its promises and our expectations. It is very clean and well maintained.
There is a long, wide hall, perfect freedom for little ones, when they are inside. The garden is also spacious, walled (on 3 sides) and offers a large degree of privacy, plenty of things for the wee ones to play with ...Kirsteen also provided plenty of toys for inside, extremely welcome!
It is so near the centre of town for shops and eateries.
We have recommended this one to our friends and will keep it in mind for a future weekend.

'Great location' Mandy Docherty, United Kingdom.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently for my daughters 16th birthday. There were 7 of us in total (2 adults and 4 teenagers and a 5 year old) The apartment was easy to find with the directions we were given by e-mail and it has a wonderful, central location. My daughter and 3 friends loved the health club that you can get passes for at a reasonable price from Kirsteen, and they went every day.
Even though the owners were busy with their young daughters birthday party on the day of our arrival, Robbie came down with toys for our 5 year old that were much appreciated. The house itself was modern, very clean and spacious and the bedrooms were lovely. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Stirling and further afield as it is very close to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Callander. Very handy for walking into town for shopping and their is a supermarket and bowling within a short drive. Lots of take away places and cafes within a short walk too. My daughter had a lovely birthday here. Thank you!
